Section Three: Class Experience & Execution
You’ve learned about the body, the power of music, and how to construct a BASE class, but how do you deliver a great class for your students? This section will help you discover and understand all the elements that make up the experience and teach you how to execute the ideas in your own classes.
Objectives
- Understand the difference between group fitness and personal training
- Learn about the Special Populations and how to keep your classes safe for everyone
- Understand how to find and describe the science behind each movement you do in class
- Provide education and coaching for all fitness levels
- Master how to communicate your class to all types of learners; visual, verbal, and kinesthetic
Section Four: Instructor Fundamentals
Becoming a trusted instructor takes more than simply understanding the things we’ve covered in this training so far. The following section will go over what it means to be a leader in your class and what basic things are expected from you to be a barre instructor.
Objectives
- Understand what clients expect from a class leader during all phases of class; their experience before, during, and after class
- Recognize what it takes to be seen as a fitness professional
- Master how to help new clients get the most out of your class
