Section Two: Class Program and Design
will go over what it takes to construct a class under the BASE method and the core components of any group fitness class. In addition to our class formats, with this section, you will gain a foundation of the understanding of musicality and how to use your playlist as a tool for your classes.
Objectives
- Learn basic musicality like how to find the 8-count and BPM in music
- Understand the science behind building a powerful playlist
- Identify and understand the purpose of the three components necessary in every class; warm-up, conditioning phase, and cooldown
